About the Role
As Director of PMO at Tersus Services, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects by providing strategic leadership, implementing best practices, and ensuring effective project management processes and methodologies are in place.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field.
One of the following certifications PMP, PgMP, RTPM
5 years of progressive experience in project management experience in the telecommunications/broadband industry.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing project management methodologies and processes.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement the strategic vision for the PMO aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards and processes.
Oversee project portfolio management, ensuring projects are prioritized, resourced appropriately, and delivered on time and within budget.
Continuously assess and improve project management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with department heads to allocate resources across projects.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Develop and maintain project performance metrics and KPI’s
Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
Lead change management initiatives related to project management processes and methodologies.
Mentor Tersus Project Managers and Jr Project Managers through a bottom-up leadership approach.
